Format of the Conference
The language of the conference is English and Hungarian. In presence. The abstracts and papers will be presented in several sessions and discussed with the participants.
A konferencia formája
A konferencia nyelve angol és magyar. Jelenléti esemény. Az előadók több szekcióban elosztva prezentálhatják eredményeiket, illetve vitathatják meg a résztvevőkkel.
The global economic and domestic, national economic, and corporate processes of the polycrisis present more and more challenges to economic policy decision-makers, company managers, and international organizations. TThe first two decades of the 21st century left many economic, business and public policy problems unsolved or created. Recurring military and trade wars undermine the international economic cooperation. For years, uncertainty has determined the business environment and the operating conditions of economic policy. Prices have become out of control. The threat of war has increased. Defense spending became the most important. Digitalization has produced artificial intelligence with an effect not yet predictable. The issue of climate change is constantly hovering in front of decision-makers, while the short-term energy crisis pushed it into the background in the economic behavior of consumers and producers. A competition of different solutions to opposite demographic challenges is taking place before our eyes, which is felt through consumption, public welfare systems, the labor market and many other economic channels. Did the past decades of chasing growth bring societies closer to prosperity? While we are almost forgetting about the crisis caused by the "Great Closure", the prolongation of the war in Ukraine projects new economic crises.
By discussing these topics, the seminar provides an opportunity for young researchers to express their views.
A polikrízis világgazdasági és hazai, nemzetgazdasági és vállalati folyamatai egyre újabb kihívások elé állítják a gazdaságpolitikai döntéshozókat, a vállalatvezetőket, a nemzetközi szervezeteket. A XXI. század első két évtizede számos gazdasági, üzleti és közpolitikai problémát hagyott megoldatlanul, vagy termelt ki. Kiújuló katonai és kereskedelmi háborúk ássák alá a szoros nemzetközi gazdasági együttműködéseket. Évek óta a bizonytalanság határozza meg az üzleti környezetet és a gazdaságpolitika működési körülményeit. Az árak kontrolállhatatlanná váltak. A háborús fenyegetettség megnövekedett. A védelmi kiadások váltak a legfontosabbá. A digitalizáció kitermelte a még beláthatatlan hatású mesterséges intelligenciát. A klímaváltozás kérdése folyamatosan ott lebeg a döntéshozók előtt, miközben a fogyasztók és termelők gazdasági viselkedésében háttérbe szorította a rövidtávú energiaválság. Ellentétes demográfiai kihívásokra adott különböző megoldások versenye zajlik a szemünk előtt, amely a fogyasztáson, az állami ellátórendszereken, a munkaerőpiacon és sok egyéb gazdasági csatornán keresztül érezteti hatását. A növekedés hajszolásának elmúlt évtizedei vajon a jóléthez is közelebb vitték-e a társadalmakat? Miközben már szinte megfeledkezünk a "Nagy Lezárás" okozta válságról, az ukrajnai háború elhúzódása újabb gazdadasági válságokat vetít előre.
Ezeket a témákat megvitatva, teremt lehetőséget a szeminárium fiatal kutatók számára, hogy meglátásaikat kifejtsék.
